KeyFormula was founded by Richard Dutton to deliver innovative solutions to small and medium sized enterprises. The ideas, techniques and approaches used by KeyFormula have been developed over many years, from the experiences of developing both for personal and 3rd-party use.
Richard has several years experience within a high profile management consultancy, where he regularly developed creative Excel solutions. These ranged from simple validation techniques to improve the accuracy of data entry, up to large scale retail scheduling tools that were deployed at over 200 national stores.
Prior to this, Richard completed an Engineering PhD, during which he built many bespoke analytical tools, including data modelling and optimisation packages. In addition, several tools were developed to produce personalised assignments for students, and an automated marking scheme to improve efficiency and grading accuracy.
